2011 It’s been pretty quiet lately. We haven’t received too many messages from

ST. CHRISTOPHER’S FIESTA

It is Alumni night for the St. Chris grade
school.
We thought it would be great to combine it
with a mini-reunion of Bremen Class of 1968.
We will meet in the tent at 7:30 p.m.

Well half the summer is gone and we haven’t had any get togethers. BUT, Bob Chichester is coming to the Southside this week and a bunch
of us are meeting at Aurelios in Mokena on Thursday
July 15th at 6:30 just to say HI! 19836 S. Wolf, Mokena, Illinois for pizza and beer. Please join us.
If you are coming to Chitown let us
know and we can tell everyone!! Hope to
see you soon.

Come Join us for a Birthday Celelbration
at Aurelios in Mokena. John Dace turned 60 on the 13th and Paul Reed on the 9th!!! 7 p.m.

for Mike Wallace (actually b’day on Nov 25).
October 1-5, 2009
Strands, Reeds & Wallaces went to Las
Vegas. It was biker week!!! (we didn’t know that). Lots of tattoos (not
ours), body piercings, leather and well-endowed women (also not ours). It was a lot of fun and on Sunday we met up
with Chuck & Linda Yuska and Teddy Golat! It was great seeing them. Look at the
pictures.
Next time Yuska’s are in town we hope
to get together with lots of ’68 Alumni.
We will let you know!
September 18, 2009 Not too many 1968 Alumni attended. The Braves lost. We went to Tap’s Pub at half-time. Those attending were Dave Balszek,
John Dace, Larry Mazies, Mary Athans, Len Strand, Deb Kroener,
Sue Hornung, Mike Wallace, Paul Reed, Gayle Kos, Barb Lang. Sorry no
pictures.

BREMEN HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING Come join us 7:00 p.m.
Class of ’68 is invited to the tent in the endzone. This is an annual happening for all Bremen
Alumni. You never know who will turn
up!! It is the Class of 69s 40th reunion,
but they are holding their dinner/dance the same night so many of them will not
be at the game. But we are betting that
some will show up before going to their festivities. Please come and right after half time we will
be heading over to Taps Pub-15427 Cicero, Oak Forest, Il. Owned by ‘68 Alumni
Michelle Dolosich and ’67 alumni Skip. We were there last year (check out the pics from last year) and had a great time catching up with
each other. Please send us an email if you plan on coming to the game &
Tap’s so we can tell them how many will be attending! We will take new pics
to post on Shutterfly!!!

Some ’68 Alumni attended Linda Antonucci’s
annual summer party at the Blue Fox. Jim Fox, Jim Holuj,
Paul & Gayle (Kos) Reed, Mike Wallace, Rick Wiednaar,
Candy Johnson, Barb Lang, Deb Kroener, Dru Donnelly, Sue Hornung, JimSzafranski. I hope I didn’t miss anyone. Check out the pictures link-only a few this time.

June 9, 2009—We received info from
Linda Antonucci from the Class of 1967. Apparently she puts together a summer party
at a bar for the 1967 Alumni. She wants
the classes of ’66, ‘68, ‘69 to join them.
Several of the ’68 alums went last year and had a great time. So we have another outing!!! It will be on Saturday night, July 18th, at
the Blue Fox Bar & Grill in Tinley Park at the corner of 179th and Oak

"Billy’s Boys," an oldies cover band will be
playing there at 9:00 p.m. There is no cover charge. We hope that by the “oldies” they mean the 60’s
& 70’s and not the 40’s & 50’s!!!

JUNE 5, 2009—16 of us got together just for the heck of it! We caught up with each other, reminisced,
laughed and were pretty noisy.

We shared pictures of our kids & grandkids and talked about
our jobs(or lack of them) and vacations.

has invited us to see a band on Friday 2/20/2009. Come and join us.
They are called the Renditions and they are playing in Westmont,
IL this next Friday night ( Feb 20).
This will be at the Grape restaurant. Nice thing they start at
8:00pm to 11:00pm.

December 5th Larry & Betty Mazies met us for
our regular Friday night at Aurelio’s
Pizza. We had a great time with Reeds,

We heard from Larry Mazies on Dec 1, his wife Betty was sick so
they could not meet with us last week.

On Black Wednesday, the night before Thanksgiving, Deb Kroener, Mike Wallace, Paul&Gayle(Kos)Reed, Len&Mary(Athans)Strand
all met at
Aurelio’s in Mokena. We had a few
drinks, a lot of laughs and looked forward to some good food the next day. We are all thankful
that we do
have friends and family to celebrate with.
